Tradewinds Farm is owned and operated by Tyrel and Amy Frey. We are located in central Michigan, about an hour north and slightly east of Grand Rapids. Our farm is home to anywhere from 10-15 mature horses at any given time, many of whom will either have offspring available each spring, or they themselves might be available to the right buyers.

When we married in June of 2005, we had three saddle horses and friends who had Percherons. That quickly changed in 2006 when we purchased our first registered mare. By 2008, we were raising foals of our own and attending breed shows with them. While our goal is to produce foals who are competitive at the highest levels of competition within our breed, we also believe their temperament should also lend them to becoming a favorite member of the family. If they aren't fun to have in the barn every day, we haven't been doing our job in selecting the right matches.

In recent years we have also branched into doing our own reproduction work and are currently in the process of setting up our lab, making it possible to collect and freeze or ship our stallions and potentially branch out into assisting others with the same.

Visits to the farm are welcome and encouraged for any potential buyer or client. We are happy to show off the residents and answer questions about them and our services.
