Our band of broodmares is an excellent mix of sizes and types with two very important shared features among all of them - They all come from pedigrees that are not quite what you will find in most mainstream barns; making them useful improving bloodline diversity in the future for many programs. We have carefully selected them with that goal in mind in addition to our more important criteria, which is the propensity to be excellent performance partners. When we started amassing this group of mares we wanted mares from families who not only were pretty enough and correct enough to be competitive at halter, but more importantly, that they descended from stock who had shown a propensity to be competitive in a performance venue at the highest levels of competition. Our core group of mares consist of daughters and granddaughters of sires such as Cedarfarm Ontario, ER's Jet, Blooming Grove Midnight, Windermere King Cong, Francois, MG's Black Diamond, Lucasia Zodiac and others. We've since also added mares who add in some of the athleticism of Queen's Commander, Rose Hill Bud and Justamere Classic Stepper as well as a little extra influence from Highview Dragano. We are extremely proud of the mare band that we have put together and are excited with the resulting foals when crossing them with our sires.
